8. Instant Family (2018)
Children are the only thing missing in the actual full life of Pete and Allie at once. They study adoption and take a course, whereupon they decide to adopt a child. They do not expect that there will be three siblings at once. The difficulties they face when adopting are understandable throughout.
You feel for the whole movie; afterward, you feel especially sensitized to the topic of foster children and adoption. There’s not a dry eye in the comedy, but the ending is all the better for it, and the mood afterward is all the better.
9. Fack ju Göhte (2013)
The series around “teacher” Zeki Müller and his problem pupils, which was celebrated then as it is now, flushed several million into the box office. Because bank robber Zeki Müller buried the money he stole on his last raid before he was caught, he applies for a job as a teacher at a school and searches for the money in the cellar as inconspicuously as possible. The plan works out, but the circumstances that get in Zeki’s way make his life difficult.
A lot of humor convinces all three parts of this series, especially the first part, which is epic and convinces in every respect. More good humor is hard to come by!

The film “No Place Without You” is based on the book by Nicholas Sparks and tells the story of two couples who are forever bound together by fate.

One fateful night, they discover Ira Levinson’s burning car in the dark and rescue him. In the hospital, the 90-year-old talks about his past, his wife Ruth, who has already died, and the happiness they found in each other.
The Oscar for the best-animated film was won in 2017 by the movie “Zoomania” – rightly so. Rabbit Judy Hopps wants to become a police officer; to do so, she must leave her home, a rather rural area, to explore the world. Her potential as a police officer is great, but confidence in the little bunny of police chief Bogo, a buffalo, is low. Judy Hopps has to tough it out and solve a difficult case.
A children’s film with a lot of heart, which you can confidently watch even as an adult.
12. The Snow Queen (2013)
Surely “The Ice Queen” is also a familiar term to you. Elsa, the princess of the kingdom of Arendelle, has the ability to control ice and frost. That is better said: she is in the process of learning it. Their younger sister Elsa repeatedly gets into dangerous situations in the process. When the sisters’ parents are killed in a terrible shipwreck, the two sisters actually have to stick together. But Anna has trouble controlling her powers and is terrified of hurting Elsa.
An endearing film with many details that complete and round out the overall work of art.
13. Set It Up (2018)
Harper is 25 years old and an assistant to a well-known journalist. Harper wants nothing more than to become an aspiring journalist herself, so she reads her boss’ every wish in hopes of getting support from her.
Charlie is in a similar situation, waiting for a long-overdue promotion – he, too, is an assistant to a well-known entrepreneur. When Harper and Charlie meet, the penny drops pretty quickly: by setting up their two bosses, they both want to help themselves to more free time and potential promotion.
An elaborate plan that viewers enjoy watching. The actors harmonize brilliantly and redefine their concept of happiness with each other.
14. The Other Woman (2014)
The 2014 comedy about a woman who discovers that she is not her husband’s only lover scores with humor and likable actors. The unpredictable plot provides a reason to laugh and is the perfect medicine for a bad day. The three main characters complement each other and hatch a plan to blow the husband’s cover.
Wonderfully funny and, above all, relatable, the film “The Damage Girlfriends” tells an unforgettable story about friendship and happiness. Of course, you have to expect clichés; however, that makes the story all the funnier.
15. The Kissing Booth (2018)
This romantic comedy deals with how a supposedly forbidden kiss leads to a relationship that must be kept secret. Elle is actually a late bloomer and has a lively exchange with her best friend, Lee, about how much this annoys her – but when her crush Noah actually makes the first move and kisses Elle, there’s no way Elle can tell her best friend because Lee and Noah are brothers and Lee has urged Elle not to do anything with her brother. Elle has to decide what she wants – and above all, whether and if so, how she can tell Lee about Noah, preferably without hurting him.

David Clark is content with his life. He deals drugs and makes relatively good sales in the process. Through unfortunate circumstances, however, he is robbed of his dope and money and falls out of favor with his marijuana supplier, who promptly sets David up for bigger things.

Disguised as the “Miller family,” they go on “vacation” to smuggle drugs across the border. Whether it goes well?
The good humor comedy is unique in its story and also in harmony between the actors brought to the point. Familiar faces like Jennifer Aniston bolster the plot. The story is not only funny story but also thought-provoking, both for the characters in the film and for oneself in search of happiness.
17. Dirty Dancing (1987)
The US-American dance movie is a true classic, which you can’t get around not only because of the well-known music. The film is reminiscent of the sixties in terms of dance style and tells the story of Frances, called Baby, and Johnny, who fall in love with each other and dare to dance a dance or two with each other over various circumstances.

When his supposed daughter Magdalena shows up, Henry is finally stressed out. He is supposed to take care of Magdalena for a while because her mother is away on a business trip. The shock of having a daughter sits deep in Henry’s bones; after all, he had no idea of his child’s existence for eight years. How the story ends, you can roughly guess.
The light comedy tells the colorful story of a patchwork family and offers, as a successful distraction from everyday life, another good mood film, which makes badly happy.
20. Love, Simon (2018)
Nobody knows that Simon is gay. Not even his best friends suspect it. The film tells its story. His coming out goes differently than planned, bringing Simon’s ideal world to a temporary collapse.
A soulful story with very believable actors who visibly put in a lot of effort. All in all, this is a good film with a tendency to be drama, which you can watch without any problems. Love, Simon” also offers food for thought but can just as easily be a light love movie to laugh at and admire.
